hi all
i have oracle 9i installed on suse linus E.S
the istallation was ok but at the end starting the
dbca
i get the error in the object.
i know that this probleam is treated is lot of post
i have done some substitutions in the oracle directory
without succes, also if i try to connect to the db i
get

ORA-01034 (See ORA-01034.ora-code.com): ORACLE not available
ORA-27101 (See ORA-27101.ora-code.com): shared memory realm does not exist
infact seems to me that no database is installed .
also i have jre rpm installed and my machine is athlon
xp echo $CPU gives to me i686.

how can i resolv?
i need to do the db whit dbca
