Hi Mohammed, Can you start the instance manually? has user oracle enough rights on /etc/oratab? how big is your SGA configured? Linux x86 doesn't support more than ~1,7 GB without some bigger changes. These are not done with orarun!! Yours, Ralf >>>Mohammad N.
