Subject:  [suse-oracle] ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
Hi all,

Something is horribly wrong with Oracle services, i try to connect using
psqlplus system/paswd and i got

SQL*Plus: Release 8.1.7.0.0 - Production on Mon May 3 12:02:20 2004

(c) Copyright 2000 Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.

ERROR:
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist
Linux Error: 2: No such file or directory

Enter user-name:

After 3 attempts the login is rejected...

i've digged around mailings archives and i've seen all kinds of answers
but none worked for me.

I've patched dbstart as described at
http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-oracle/2000-Jul/0051.html, no
success...

Any ideas? help is much appreciated!
